Many people in our society don't believe robots could have any benefit to how we live our daily lives. Adaptation to this technology has been an uphill battle since it's development, and with current social stigmas and the misinformation going around it doesn't seem to be getting any better. This has led to lack of attention to this growing field, and unfortunately other countries have already taken to this technology as part of their everyday lives leaving our country behind in policy, a blooming competitive market, and other very beneficial aspects that come from embracing this new age of personal robots.
While most of us live our lives absolutely dependent on our technology we fail to realize the potential benefits behind what developing this technology would bring to our society. If we don't start adapting to the growth and advancements we risk losing out on the benefits for our health, economics and socialization. Missing out on these could cause a significnt gap in the development and competitive advantages of generations to come.
Some of these benefits include companions for the elderly and those with physical or social disabilities.
